ACTRESS Ruhainies was criticised by netizens after she shared posts with sarcastic messages online, Utusan Malaysia reported.

Many questioned the intention behind the 34-year-old actress’ action of reposting the sarcastic posts on social media platform Threads, shortly after it was announced that actress and singer Bella Astillah was engaged to Muar MP Syed Saddiq on Saturday.

“You don’t have to ‘repost’ people’s sarcasm. Check carefully if you want to ‘repost’ sarcastic posts when Bella is engaged,” one netizen replied to Ruhainies, whose real name is Nur Ruhainies Farehah Zainul Ilyas.

Many assumed that the post was aimed at Bella, whose real name is Dayang Nabellah Awang Astillah.

Ruhainies was previously caught in close proximity with Bella’s then husband, actor Aliff Aziz, in 2024.

Following the backlash from social media users, the shared posts are no longer on Ruhainies’ profile.

On Saturday, Bella officially became Syed Saddiq’s fiancee after the duo were rumoured to have started dating since early last year.

Bella and Aliff divorced for the second time in June 2024.

> Actress Arbaiyah Abdul Manan, better known as Abby Abadi, shared meaningful advice and words of encouragement for her daughter, Marissa Dania Hakim, following her marital issues with social media influencer Ahmad Aslam.

Sinar Harian reported that Abby, 48, reminded her daughter that youth is a learning phase and not every mistake means failure.

“You are only 20 years old. Mistakes do not mean you have failed. That is a sign that you are learning to become a better and more mature person. My daughter is strong,” Abby said.

Ahmad Aslam and Marissa appeared at the Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court yesterday to determine their marital status.

According to Syariah lawyer Muhammad Ammar Yaser Ahmad Nazri, who represents Ahmad Aslam, his client pronounced divorce and rujuk (remarriage) twice: first in September 2024 and then remarried in the same month.

Ahmad Aslam then pronounced divorce for the second time in April 2025 and the couple is understood to have remarried in June.

Abby also advised Marissa not to simply follow trends but to make decisions that give value to life instead.

“If today you don’t understand the meaning of life, that is okay. The important thing is to keep learning. Don’t do something because many people do it, but do it when something gives ‘value’ to your life.

“The value of life is not in who is the best, but in a calm soul and heart,” she said.
